Community Project

New Classes - Community Programme

We are keen to develop an outreach community club which is accessible to all local children and want to create a wider appeal for this historic sport. Over time we hope to grow this club so it too has international level successes.

***Improving children's co-ordination, self-respect, self-motivation and fitness***

Fencing is exciting and fun and improves children's co-ordination, self-respect, self-motivation and their overall fitness. To make fencing more accessible The Fencing School has just launched NEW drop-in taster classes at the St John Bosco college in Battersea. The classes are aimed at children aged 7-12 years old who have not fenced before and cost £8* a week which includes the use of the equipment (*concessionary rate for Wandsworth referal or can request .. pls call us)..

Children love watching 'sword fighting' in films like The Three Musketeers, Star Wars and Peter Pan and these classes will give more children an opportunity to try fencing.
